This unique story written by my brother Buzzy at age 13 in 1957 two weeks before he succumbed to leukemia is full of his adventures. I illustrated the text in a manner to evoke the simple creative joy of his life before there were digital devices. It is also meant to honor families whose children have lost their lives too soon.

This was the opportunity offered to women across NY state by editor, Patricia Nugent, who conceived this anthology when she met a man at her mother's memorial service who had been an early lover. My mother's story, Letter Never Sent, is told by me in Chapter 7.
